Alex Blexus - Brazilian musician singer, guitarist, songwriter, Dj & producer, from Porto Alegre city South of Brasil, with an original style of music, mixing Brazilian roots, sambarock, reggae, funk & soul. Renowned for his Brazilian rhythm swing guitar & DJ grooves sets. 15 years singer & guitarist with popular local sambarock Casa da Sogra band south of Brazil! 2009 recorded the popular Sao Paulo dance floor hit sambarock song “Nasantigas”, participates of the song include Luis Vagner, ‘O Guitarreiro’ & other legends from Sambarock. In 2015 he toured Portugal and Spain in Europe and finally arrived in Australia with an invitation from friend and musician Fernando Aragones (band Animal Ventura) where he exchanged musical and cultural experience with several local artists such as Costa Rae, King Tide, Beautiful Girls among Others.
After landing in Sydney, Australia, he returned to Brazil direct to Florianopolis, to work until May 2017, where he found inspiration to make his Blexus project public, a song without labels but with positive messages for a better world. In October, he released the first music video of the Blexus Trilogy, The Music Is Very Precious, with a song Blood From Africa, a reflection on his life experience in homage to the African roots. In November, it released the second video in the series, Legalize Your Freedom, a heavy n roll reggae with the critical lyrics of the planet's current situation and human relations.
In August of 2017 moved to London in search of improving his knowledge in musical production. During this period he took courses in music production and performed several presentations as a musician and as a DJ. The Troubador at Earls Court, The Floripa at Shoreditch, The Jack at Chelsea and the Markets around UK were some stages of their concerts. In September 2017 he was invited to open the band's show The Fontanas at Archspace at The Fontanas Remixed Party event, also in the same month played with the Dub Marta reggae band at The Troubadour place where legends like Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix and others scored his debut in London.
He also worked as a musician and regular DJ at the Floripa Pub where he led the Brazilian night in London. He also worked as a regular musician at The Jack's with his trio of musicians including Matheus Nova in the bass founder of Saravah Soul Band and Xande Oliveira drummer and percussionist "Dr." in Brazilian music. After residing a year and a half in London he moves to Australia Sydney where he currently resides.
